Hopkins assistance team to speak about their experiences in Haiti
Go Team to Share Stories of Haiti April 30 at Hurd Hall
Come see and hear what members of the Johns Hopkins Go Team experienced and learned on medical missions to Haiti to assist earthquake victims. The entire Johns Hopkins community is invited to the free event on Friday, April 30, from noon to 1:30 pm in Hurd Hall at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Featured speakers will include Christina Catlett, M.D., the Go Team director, Dr. Thomas Kirsch, M.D, co-Director of the Center for Refugee and Disaster Response in the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Michal Millin, M.D., who served on a Disaster Medical Assistance Team in Haiti.

80s for Haiti Fundraiser
Hello Everyone,
We're bringing FUN TIMES back. Yeah. Join us on Friday May 7th from 9pm-1:30am in the Great Hall (inside Levering Hall on the Homewood campus) for our 80s for Haiti Fundraiser and Party. Come mix and mingle with students from across campuses and support a great cause at the same time. Feel free to bring a guest...or two...or three. The cost of admission is only $5 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Partners in Health. Here’s your chance to rock your favorite clothes from the 80s & 90s that you NEVER wanted to go out of style. You don’t have to dress the part but it definitely would be more fun!

Haiti Week at Hopkins: Next Wednesday through Friday
Haiti Week at Hopkins begins next Wednesday! The events will kick off on the 10th with a lunchtime documentary screening and discussion about sustainable development. Come back for the lunchtime lecture on Thursday when we will examine issues specific to Haiti's rural population. The week will culminate with a Haitian Happy Hour on campus, followed by the potluck dinner and raffle just south of campus near Patterson Park.
Donations will be collected on Wednesday through Friday at the Daily Grind, and all proceeds will benefit Beyond Borders' model villages recovery program.
