Panel discussion this Tuesday

A message from JHU Haiti Aid:

JHU Haiti Aid, a coalition of more than 70 student groups supporting earthquake relief, has organized a panel entitled "Haiti: The Politics of Reconstruction."

We'd like to invite you, your colleagues, and your students to join us. The panel will highlight current plans for reconstruction proposed by foreign governments and international donors, as well as those that have been put forth by Haitian civil society. Professor Franklin Knight will moderate the discussion. Confirmed panelists include Robert Maguire, Director of the Haiti Program at Trinity Washington University; Madison Smartt Bell of Goucher College; and an official affiliated with the Haitian embassy.

Tuesday, April 27, 7:00pm
Sherwood Room at Levering Hall
Homewood Campus

Please consider forwarding the details of the event to your students and colleagues. Thank you, in advance, for helping us to promote this opportunity.
